10 tips to win more matches
Final Circle is easy to learn, but winning consistently takes some strategy. Here's what works.
1. Loot fast, then move
The first minute decides a lot. Head for a cluster of buildings, open two or three crates and upgrade from your starting weapon, then get moving before the zone forces you to.
2. Watch the minimap and the zone timer
The zone info above the minimap shows the current radius and when it closes. Press M for the full map. Plan your route toward the centre early instead of running in at the last second.
3. Let the bots fight each other
Bots fight each other as well as you, and only lock onto you when you get close. Stay out of their way early, let them thin each other out, then take on whoever is left with low health.
4. Use cover like it's your job
Houses, warehouses, cars and crates all block bullets. Peek out, shoot, and duck back. Standing in an open field is the fastest way to get knocked out.
5. Reload before you need to
Reloading takes 1.3 to 2.8 seconds depending on the gun. Press R after every fight, not in the middle of the next one.
6. Aim down sights for distance
Right click to aim. Your shots get far more accurate, especially with the Rifle. Hip-firing is fine up close, but at range always aim.
7. Pick your weapon for the fight
The Shotgun wins inside buildings, the SMG wins at close-to-medium range, and the Rifle and Sniper win in the open. Check the weapons guide for exact stats.
8. Sprint smart
Hold Shift to sprint between cover and when the zone is closing, but slow down near the edge of the circle so you can spot players waiting there.
9. Get the high ground in the final circle
The map has hills. In the last few circles a hilltop gives you a view of everyone below. Get there before the final circle locks in.
10. Turn the graphics down if it lags
A smooth game beats a pretty one. If your aim feels slow, switch to Low or Medium graphics on the ready screen.
